Boating is only the beginning of what makes Columbia River Yacht Club a special place for you, your family and your guests. Our main focus is having fun. Join us for our 10 annual cruises, a fun get together on the Paddlefish, a dinner dance, a casual Saturday lunch or the popular Thursday Night Mens' Dinner. The Lady's Activity Committee is a group of women who work together to create fun opportunities in which the women can participate in their own events. There are lunches, dinners, fashion shows, and fund raisers. The Lady's Activity Committee also plans the annual Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch and the Family Christmas Party. For the kids we have our Crew Club, a great group that gives the children unique opportunities to have fun together, whether it's special activities on our organized cruises, water safety education, a birthday party or a day excursion, they can be sure of a great time.

Columbia River Yacht Club members pride themselves on the many philanthropic efforts and fund raising activities which benefit the community. From hosting Blue Star and Gold Star families as their guest on Opening Day, to holding an auction for the OHSU Hearts of Gold, CRYC members are always ready to roll up their sleeves and help out a worthy cause.
You may be as involved as you would like, or if you prefer to hang back, that's okay too. Our member volunteers work together to plan events, participate in entertainment and even adorn an apron to help out in the kitchen or at the grill. No matter your age or the size of your boat, when you come through the Club gates, you are simply a fellow boating enthusiast enjoying all that the CRYC has to offer.
Columbia River Yacht Club's mission is to cherish and perpetuate the patriotism, fellowship, and friendly relations with it's members and the river community. Work towards fostering and promoting health and safety on navigable waterways so that all may enjoy it's many benefits. Anchored by a permanent facility, CRYC members and their families enjoy an association of camaraderie, and community while participating in boating and social events.
